Who are we kidding, if you’re here, you already know what’s going to go down, and are likely looking for a way to save Yuri from her grisly demise. While Doki Doki Literature Club Plus has a number of side stories that can be unlocked by playing through and seeing all of the scenes of the main DDLC Plus story, the actual main story is the same as it was in the free PC version. What this means is that there isn’t anything different that will play out this time, and the fate of Yuri and the other Dokis are the same.Įssentially, Yuri is will end up stabbing herself no matter what you do, and you’ll once again be stuck with her all weekend long (be sure to use the skip function when this happens by the way). There’s nothing that you could have done, or said, to have prevented this from happening despite the choices you make along the way. However, there is a secret ending that you can obtain that will change the final ending of the game, and while it does still involve seeing Yuri kill herself, you can at least end on a happier note.
This secret good ending is a lot more positive than the normal ending, and while it’s still not perfect (the Dokis sadly will never enter our reality, which would, of course, be the true good ending), it’s a hell of a lot nicer.

Once again, while Yuri will die horribly no matter what you do, you can still get a happier ending for Yuri and the Dokis.

Stuff that change her and you wont be able to revert back (unless you change your mind and tell her?) But I think that would require a LOT of code to write. Stuff like this then stays forever in your playthrough unless you completely wipe your renpy folder out, I think that there should be stuff like this with Monika as well. Yuri can either completely throw her knife hobby for you or you can encourage her to share with you if there happen to be a chance in future, She might either stop cutting herself or you can tell her its what she likes and we won't judge, You can make her aknowledge her dark side to know and to fight against the evil inside or tell her thats her true nature and make her insane part take over. "the insanity/karma thing sounds like the affection system" it is similar indeed.Īnd there is also one more thing which I like in JY, which probably will tie with affection system in MAS, is that there are some special dialogues which shape future dialogues and who Yuri is, for example: "On the other hand, new poses and expressions are already in the pipeline" which I know but thats why I encourage to check how JY poses look to get some ideas perhaps? "the talking speed thing has been discussed already" I know that "It's pretty well established that MAS won't respond to other mods" I havent said a single thing about that I don't really get your reply, I feel as if you were attacking me, But it might be my insecurity 😄 like: You mean to throw MAS concepts to JY creators to give them some ideas?
